Camping- Camden Hills, Maine

Camping Trip to Camden, Maine

We camped at Camden Hills State Park and enjoyed "hiking," window shopping, swimming and seeing lighthouses!

Mt. Battie, Camden
You can drive right up to the top of this mountain from the campground that we stayed at. At the top there are several other trails that connect to other mountains and a look-out tower. The views are spectacular!

Penobscot Bay

Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse:
It's a mile walk along this rock jetty to get to the lighthouse

Camden

More Camden pictures: the harbor is just breath-taking!

The "Margaret Chase Smith" ferry that goes from the "mainland" in Lincolnville (just north of Camden) to Islesboro, where my Aunt Linda and Uncle John used to live and where I spent many summers growing up with my cousins! I even drove this ferry once when I was 10 years old! Many long ferry rides and great memories!

Brady loved scoping out the view!

Our friends that we went camping with: Kurt, Jan and Theron Ringrose

Brady "feeds" the statue of the legendary "Andre the Seal" at the Rockland Harbor Park

Posing with one of his favorite things: a train that used to run a three mile stretch from the Rockland Harbor Park to a location along the coast. It was used for mining and carrying lyme.

Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse

My friend, Laura Dubreuil and I at the lighthouse

Our family after we came back from the lighthouse. It's a one mile walk out on the breakwater to get to the lighthouse! Brady walked the WHOLE way there but came back in the backpack carrier (not that he wanted to- we wanted to walk faster on the way back!)

Philly Trip- May 2007

The Proud Graduate Harcome College

Feeding the ducks: Nickie shows Brady how it's done!

What a beautiful Grammie!!!

Philadelphia: The City of Love...

Downtown Philly: Brady loved the over-sized game pieces and struggled to pick them up! He ran around touching each one of them over and over! Grammie Graf convinced him to take a ride in the Monopoly wagon with her, while Chris strikes a pose as the Monopoly Man himself.

Below: On an exiting subway ride!

Chris shows Rocky who's the boss!!!
Visiting the Rocky Museum and showing our big muscles!!!
Mom Graf doesn't pass up a chance to be close to the legend! Isn't she a looker?!
The Philly Kids: Show us the town

TRIP TO PHILADELPHIA!!!!

Chris, Brady and I headed on down to Philly in May 2007 for Nickie's graduation as a Dental Hygenist from Harcome College. We managed to find plenty of time for fun, games, good food and lots of baby gifts for Nick and Nickie's baby girl, Alexa who will be born in September!!!

Where it all began....

This is where it all began...in Rexburg, Idaho of all places! Chris and I met in September of 2002, fell in "love at first sight," and were engaged soon thereafter (one crazy story!)

We were married for time and all eternity on May 2nd, 2003 in the Logan Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Logan, Utah. A very special place for us because that is also where Chris and his family were sealed when he was a little boy.

A year later we returned to Logan to celebarate our ONE year Anniversary at the wedding of Chris's sister Nickie and her husband, Nick. A few weeks later we found out about our ONE year anniversary present- we were pregnant!

It has been a little over 4 years now and we have a beautiful 2 1/2 year old little boy, Braden Christopher. "Brady," is spirited, just as his Irish namesake suggests!

Follow us in the coming days and years as we continue to celebrate our lives together!
