i have been waiting on pictures to do this post, and just over a year later i am sad to say that i accidentally deleted an entire folder of pictures from chelsea and spencer's wedding reception. i had some amazing pictures but alas, i cannot put it off any further. i need to get caught up on this blog before baby boy makes his grand appearance in september!!!

Bridal Shower
chelsae, chris' youngest sister got married on July 17th to spencer! they are an adorable and fun couple!!!
in june, nickie, mom, shawnae and i hosted a bridal shower at mom's house.

their beautiful new remodeled kitchen was the perfect place to set up a chocolate fountain and all of the delicious accompaniments!
nickie was in charge of the food and had some bacon to dip in the chocolate and insisted that it was a "must try!" ok nickie.....

well, i guess it's alright! (but not on my list to eat again!)
grandma jones was a guest of honor sitting in the "other" special chair. afterall, she is the one who started "it all!"
{cousin anna, aunt brenda, chelsae and mom}-
and while the ladies partied and prepared chelsae for her upcoming wedding, the guys took the kids to the park and had pizza!

baseball reception!!!
chelsae and spencer wanted a fun party to celebrate their union with their two families. it was a nice way to bring the two families together and have some old-fashioned fun!

the decor was great and there were cracker jack boxes and babe ruth candy bars for party favors.
everyone signed a baseball with a message for the bride and groom.
there were hot dogs and hamburgers, salads, chips and all sorts of BBQ fare. everyone was happy, can't you tell?
after dinner there was a pinata for the kids to hit with a baseball bat-

and then chelsae took a *whack* at it! nothing left of that poor little pinata!!!

we ended the night with fireworks in the parking lot!
the night before the wedding we all stayed over in Logan and bunked in a hotel room with nickie & nick! the adults were able to attend chelsae's endowment ceremony and then we all had dinner together before resting up for the big day.

Logan Temple
it was our privilege to be a part of the wedding and to be able to be with our family in the sealing room when chelsae and spencer made the commitment to be sealed together forever!
the girls all loved helping carry chelsae's train (something chelsae and shawnae did for me when chris and i got married!)
we took lots of pictures while waiting for the couple to exit the temple-

while waiting for pictures of the bride and groom, nickie and i took the opportunity to make sure we got some nice family pictures of our own-
i am missing the pictures from the luncheon after the wedding. we went to a pretty park down the road with a nice river running through it. the kids had a blast wading in the water and swimming with lexi's turtle, "yurtle." he drew a crowd all around him!
we had a catered dutch oven lunch for close family and friends and then chelsae and spencer left in their decorated truck on their honeymoon retreat!
we then had a reception at the graf's house in their backyard. spencer is from rupert, which is right next to burley, so it was easy for both sides of the family and friends to attend one formal reception. it was a lovely evening and i am so bummed i am missing my pictures. chelsae or ally if you're reading this....send them my way!!!
