Hop2It

I've been meaning to put these pictures on the blog for two weeks now!  I brought the kids to a fun place called Hop2It that has jump activities.  We met our friend Melody and her two girls, Emma and Maddie there and had a ton of fun together!

Olivia learned how to climb a "rock" wall

Me and Maddie being silly while everyone else went up the slide!

Olivia and Emma overcame their fears of the slide and soon became pros at climbing the ladder!

Way to go Emma!

words from a 2 year old

This is what Olivia does during snack time when I mistakingly leave the box of crackers within reach...

(The picture has nothing to do with the following quotes, it's just funny!)

Olivia:  "I'm naughty!!!"
Mommy: "Why are you naughty?"
Olivia: "Because, I like to."
Mommy: "Is naughty good?"
Olivia: "Nope. It's not."
Mommy:  "Does Jesus want us to be naughty?"
Olivia: "Nope!  He wants us to be perfect!"

Chris and I took the kids to the gym where they play while we work out.  Near the end of our work-out the childcare workers brought Olivia to us because she had pooped her pants.  We didn't have a diaper for her so we had to just put her in the car like that.  This is what she said:
Olivia:  "Eeewww!!!  I'm sitting in my poop juice!!!"

This was as we were coming home from the Super Bowl party at a friends house.  Olivia was saying lots of funny things!

Olivia:  "I want my blankie now.  I need it and I want it.  To hold it, okay???"

(Trying to distract her from being cranky)
Daddy: "Olivia, who is the best baby in the world?"
Olivia: "Me!"
Daddy: "Who is the best daddy in the world?"
Olivia: "You!"
Daddy: "Who is the best mommy in the world?"
Olivia: "Mommy!"
Daddy: "Who is the best brother in the world?"
Olivia: "He!"  (and points to Brady)
Olivia: "Who is the best Owivia in da wurld?"
Daddy:  "You!"

As we got closer to home- There is a shacky old house on the corner before you turn onto the road that leads to our subdivision.
Olivia:  "Oh, that house over der is creeeepy!!!"

Then, as we pulled onto our road she started taking her shoes and socks off:

Mommy:  "Liv, why do you always take your shoes off right before we get home?  That is a problem!"
Olivia: "Mom, what is the problem?"

Girls will be girls. Boys will be boys. But everyone has to unleash the little animal inside!

Tuesdays I watch my friend Charlotte's two sweet little children.  Mainly so she can get a break and so I can swap for daycare when she watches my kids while I work.  Anyhow, this precious little girl is my little buddy Alivia.  I once made the comment that I love her and she's like my little puppy because she follows me everywhere I go, has a squeaky, adorable little voice and when I first started watching them in the summer she was so tiny and weighed about half as what my Olivia does so it was easy to carry her around with me where ever I went!

Needless to say, I have grown quite fond of these two children who feels as much like family to me as the little cousins we have.  Brady and Olivia love them too.

Last Tuesday the girls and I made some muffins:

Alivia helped me mix all of the dry ingredients, while Olivia helped me pour in all of the liquid ingredients.

Meanwhile, these two little hooligans kept us safe from villains ... and entertained us as well!

And after the muffins were done and all of the bad guys imprisoned we took some time to get artsy and made these cute masks.  Then we got silly and got out our wiggles with music time!

A movie of the crazy jungle kids (it came out a little dark, but it's cute...and ignore the beeping of my timer for the muffins in the background!)

How many monkeys (er...I mean, cousins) can you fit in a tub?!
