Fenway- Day 2 in Maine

Ever since we moved to Maine back in 2006 Chris has loved the Red Sox.  he would spend countless nights with my dad and brothers watching "the game,"  cheering, having a great time, and eating gigantic bowls of fresh-popped corn!  We never got to Fenway while we lived there so when I found out that we were going back for a visit I wanted to make sure that he had the chance to get to game!  I was going to go too but decided to give-up my seat so we could afford a better ticket.  He got to sit right at Teske pole and they had great time...even though their team lost!

My brother Andrew, my dad and brother Bryce (Chris didn't even get a picture of himself at Fenway!)

Bryce and his girlfriend, Shelby

But he did get a picture of his seat!

Lazy Days in Maine!

We were fortunate enough to get to go back to Maine for a visit thanks to my parents generous offer to fly us out!!!  THANKS SO MUCH!!!!  WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME!!!!

Day One:

My mom picked us up at the airport (after a GRUELING red-eye flight and a LONG layover at 4 a.m. OUR time!!!  The kids were troopers though and we hung in there pretty well too for getting 0 hours of sleep!)  We then went to say hi to my dad at work and then to one of our FAVORITE spots in Maine- Mackworth Island (of which I have blogged about several times).

Brady tested out the waters immediately and remebered why he likes the beack so much!  This particular beach isn't sandy but has lots of small beach pebbles.  Chris showed Brady how to skip rocks and we all scoured for sea glass and shells!

My mom enjoying the hot sun and her sandy baby girl!

Livy was hesitant at first of the water but after she got used to it she LOVED it and we couldn't get her out of it.  Every time she saw the ocean or a lake after that she said: "Water!!!  Water!!!" and pointed to get to it as fast as she could!

Somewhere along the line Livy lost her pants!
(no, really she just got over zealous and almost went headfirst into the water!)

A Mackworth Island tradition:
Building fairy houses in the woods for all of the woodland fairies to live in!

Somewhere along the trail we found ourselves a cute little nome!

Gauchos Brazilian:  That evening we went out to an extremely, ridiculously over-priced brazilian restaurant and enjoued some good food but even better company!

My brother Andrew and his girlfriend, Alison...aren't they adorable!?!?

Bad Hair Day

These are some pictures that my friend Charlotte took of Olivia one day when she woke up from a nap at her house (she watches my kids while I'm at work).  Yup, this is actually "THE USUAL" for our Little Princess when she "pulls out her pretties!"

I must be crazy...

...because I was SO EXCITED to mow our lawn for the first time!!!

Sadly, I have tendonitis in my upper bicep/shoulder so Chris has mowed the lawn the last two times (what a guy- he's allergic to grass and has a huge allergy attack every time he mows!)

Does anyone else love to mow???  It was especially exciting mowing MY OWN yard for the first time!  VERY SATISFYING!!!

Mother's Day 2010 and a cast signing

Mother's Day was a beautiful day and we were able to spend the evening with mom and dad Graf, enjoying their backyard and a BBQ.

Tea Time and a Tea Party!

Pretend swimming!
(A few weeks back Brady was playing in the yard while we were all in the diningroom sitting at the table and all of a sudden we saw him come across the yard on his knees in this inner tube pretending to swim.  It was hilarious!)
