December 4th was Zachary's blessing day and we were so fortunate to have so much family there to show their love and support. My Grammie and Grandpa Morgan (GG & Papa) drove cross country from Maine and stopped here "on their way" to Arizona, where they live during the winter months. Grammie and Grandpa Morgan (my parents) were here from Maine, Grammie and Grandpa Graf (Chris' parents) were here from Burley, as well as Great Grandma Jones (Chris' grandma) and his sisters, Shawnae and Chelsae. We also had my cousin, Ben and his wife, Rachel and our best friends, Quinn and Natalie Thibodeau with three of their girls, Kaytee, Lily and Ally. It was a wonderful a wonderful day!
The men who stood in on the blessing circle:
Paul Morgan (maternal grandpa), Dan Graf (paternal grandpa), Chris Graf (Daddy), Ben Hubbard (2nd cousin), Owen Morgan (maternal great-grandfather) and Quinn Thibodeau (friend)
The Grandfathers: Dan Graf, Own Morgan and Paul Morgan
Our family with Grammie and Grandpa Morgan and GG & Papa Morgan
Our family with the Grafs and Great-Grandma Jones
Our family with both sets of parents and two of Chris' sisters
4 generations on the Morgan side
With both Morgan grandparents
Cousins Ben and Rachel
Grammie Morgan
Telling stories to Grandpa Morgan!
Our adorable friend Kaytee
Great-Grandma Jones and Grammie Graf
Olivia snuggled by both Grammies!
For the luncheon I served Hawaiian Haystacks that were a big hit and a lot less work than the lasagna dinners I had done for the previous two kids' blessing day.
And dessert of course! Brownies made by me and my friend Natalie (*thanks!!!*)
The adorable blessing outfit that Grammie and Grandpa Graf bought for Brady's blessing day that now Zachary got to wear! Brady just couldn't believe thgat he was once so little that he fit into this outfit! And it's a good thing that we didn't wait one more week for the blessing because Zachary almost didn't fit into it! He is much chubbier than his big brother was!
