sour cream banana bread.

i got this recipe a while back from my aunt donna and it's the best banana bread i've ever had!

sour cream banana bread: makes 1 loaf.
2 C. flour (i use half white, half fresh ground white wheat)
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 C. sugar (original recipe calls for 1 C., I add a bit less)
1/4 C. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 C. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

1) mix dry ingredients.

2) in a separate bowl cream together wet ingredients.

3) combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing well.

4) spray bread pan and pour mixture in.

5) cook in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

6) turn out onto plate and allow to cool.

this recipe can easily be doubled.
