Fall in Maine...

The change of the seasons inspires me and I've had a lot of fun taking some pictures around the town that I live...

I thought some pics of a cemetary would be interesting since it's almost Halloween...

Fall TRADITION!!! Apple Picking

My Aunt Donna came to visit from Bozeman, Montana and we had a great time visiting with her! One of the first things we did was head off to an apple orchard to pick some MacIntosh and Courtland apples for eating and applesauce. This is a fall family tradition that I look forward to every year! The smell of apples baking mixed with cinnamon and nutmeg is so nostalgic of the fall season!

Lobster Feast!!!

We had to have lobster with Donna of course, so we enjoyed a great dinner of steamed lobster and clams (Maine tradition!!!)

A Walk at Royal River

There's a beautiful river in Yarmouth, a town south of where we live. There's a paved path winding along the river, playgrounds and waterfalls. Perfect for a crisp, fall afternoon picnic and stroll!

Fort Williams & Portland Head Light

Cape Elizabeth, Maine

Fort Williams is a beautiful oceanside public park which has a rocky beach, an old stone mansion "castle," battle shelters from both World Wars, cannons, paths, a playground, baseball fields, a pond and the Portland Head Light which is a famous light house comissioned by George Washington. It is said to be the "most photographed and painted" light house in the world. It really is beautiful and I love coming here.

The harbor is beautiful, overlooking islands, sailboats, 3 other lighthouses and often times cruise ships!

Brady loves to look through these "big binoculars!"
