Camp- "Morgan's Roost"

Last Friday we went up to my Grandpa's Camp "Morgan's Roost- Where the Rooster Rules?" We had fun kayaking and spending the afternoon at the lake and visiting with my Grandparents, who Brady calls Papa and G.G. Morgan.

Brady's first time "fishing!"

On the dirt road leading up to camp there is this old truck with a tree growing out of it! I think I'm going to send this picture into Hallmark with the caption: "Been in one place too long?"

Brady at "The Cousin's Place," a small cascade that flows into a pool that my cousins and I used to swim at (hence why we called it The Cousins' Place! The name has stuck all of these years and everyone in our family still calls it that!)

Picnic at Pineland Farms

There is a beautiful farm open to the public about 15 mins. from where we live. It has a large campus with office buildings, a farmer's market, a bakery, a cafeteria with all fresh, homade food, a creamery, animals, a fishing pond, a flower garden with walking paths, hiking paths etc. It's such a neat place so we went there to get some sunshine and have a picnic!

At the fishing pond: we saw huge tadpoles, baby trout and lots of lilypads!

We got some great pictures of Olivia and Brady too: (she was 6 weeks on Monday, Sep. 1st)
She is such a GREAT baby! So happy and cuddly! She coos all of the time and makes funny little noises.

My Little Boy:

LONESTAR concert!!!

L.L.Bean has FREE concerts in the park every weekend and we got to go to LONESTAR this past weekend! It was a GREAT concert!!!

Country ROCK man!!!

Brady fell asleep about halfway through the concert. I had left to go say hi to Chris as he was actually working at L.L. Bean that night. When I cam back Brady was sitting with my dad with his "blankie" so I knew that meant that he was tired. He came and sat in his chair next to me and leaned his head on my leg and fell asleep! I tried to move the blanket from off of his head and he would claw at it and put it back! It was so funny!

He also had a "little accident" when we were waiting for the concert to start! My mom, Brady and I were in front of their tour bus waiting for the band to come off and Brady was "doing a little dance" so I knew he "had to go!" We didn't have time at that point to get him into the bathroom so my mom walked him around the corner of the building and was TRYING to DISCRETELY allow him to go the bathroom! Before she could even get him unzipped she felt "something warm" and said, "Brady! What are you doing?!" He said, "Grammie! I'm peeing!" I cracked up so hard when they walked back over to me and I saw him. All I could think of was the movie, Billy Madison when he said, "Peeing your pants is cool!!!!"

Ocean Park

These are actually some pictures from about 2 weeks before I had Olivia. We went to one of my favorite beaches: Ocean Park and Brady had so much fun playing in this "pool!"

Visit from my cousin Abe!

My cousin, Abe and his wife Sarah and their cutie-pie Natalia came out for a visit from Meridian, Idaho. It was great to be able to see them as it's been over two years! Despite some MORE cloudy weather and a couple of family crisis we managed to have some fun....here they are at the "famous" L.L.Bean boot (we take all of our visitors here!)

Two wild and crazy cousins! Tally kept Brady on his toes! He finally met his match!
Inside of the "fish bubble" at L.L.Bean
A neat sand sculpture at L.L.Bean
Then we headed on down to Portland to have a tasty lunch at Seng Thai's. I love Panang Curry!!
Next to the restaurant we noticed a little Muslim market- check out the sign! Camel meat! Who knew?!
The clouds FINALLY broke and we were able to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at Mackworth Island (where I had tried so hard for 2 weeks to take chris' family!)
Here's Sarah, Olivia and I (she's expecting their second baby =)
Brady and Tally had a blast looking for sea shells, sea glass and discovering crabs with Abe
Brady bravely holding a crab
...and starfish...

...and eels (eeekkkk!!!)

This is purely for effect! He didn't really consume the disgusting eel!!
Playing on the logs "their fort"

Abe, an original "island boy" who used to lobster as a 12 year old! Transplanted to the "wild west" when in high school- loyal Red Sox fan and still an easterner at heart!

The Antonucci Family: aren't they cute?
